Incredibly Rare Set of Pentti Sarpaneva Candlesticks
I bought these from a woman in London who had collected them when Pentti was still producing works. The shop from which she typically bought her pieces called her to tell her that they had just received a rare treasure - three Pentti Sarpaneva candlesticks. She hung up the phone and ran directly to the shop. The set seems to be part of his sunburst series that he did with jewelry (see bracelet for sale). I have never seen Sarpaneva candlesticks before and I am not sure I will again.
